Indications:
Intra-abdominal infections, Lower respiratory tract infections, Gynecological infections, Septicaemia, Genitourinary tract infections, Bone and joint infections, skin, and soft tissue infections and Endocarditis.

Mode of Action:
Imipenem inhibits transpeptidase enzyme in bacteria which causes cell wall to swell & rupture and Cilastatin inhibits renal enzyme dehydropeptidase-I.
