Mode of Action:
Baclofen inhibits both monosynaptic and polysynaptic reflexes at the spinal level by stimulating the GABAg-receptors, which inhibits the release of glutamate and aspartate. It may also act at intraspinal sites producing CNS depression. Baclofen also exerts an antinociceptive effect.
