Erocot Vet is an unique composition of Erythromycin Thiocyanate, Sulphadiazine Sodium and Trimethoprim. It is highly effective against Gram positive (+) bacteria, mycoplasma, some Gram negative (-) bacteria such as Neisseria and Haemophilus and can control bacterial infection and some protozoal infections.

Mode of Action:
Erythromycin Thiocyanate inhibits bacterial protein synthesis by binding to the 50s ribosomal subunit.
Sulphadiazine Sodium acts as an inhibitor of the bacterial enzyme dihydropteroate synthetase needed for the proper processing of para-amino benzoic acid (PABA) which is essential for bacterial folic acid synthesis.
Trimethoprim binds to dihydrofolate reductase and inhibits the reduction of dihydrofolic acid to tetrahydrofolic acid. As a result thymidine synthesis pathway interrupted which inhibits bacterial DNA synthesis.These combination provide a complete bactericidal action against bacteria.
