Description:
Ecozol Plus is a combination of Econazole Nitrate and Triamcinolone Acetonide.

Indications:
It is indicated for the topical treatment of inflammatory dermatomycoses and inflammatory skin conditions (which can be complicated by or threatened by bacterial or fungal skin infecton): Tinea pedis, tinea cruris, tinea corporis due to Trichophytes rubrum, Trichophyton mentagrophytes, Epidermophyton floccosum, and Microsporum canis. Tinea versicolor due to Malassezia furfur Cutaneous or external genital candidiasis due to Candida albicans.

Mode of Action:
Econazole inhibits the incorporation of acetate into ergosterol and thereby disrupting the integrity and function of the fungal cell membrane. It also inhibits lanosterol demethylase. Triamcinolone acetonide is a topically active fluorinated corticosteroid which has anti-inflammatory, antipruritic and vasoconstrictive actions.
