Indications:
Acute purulent conjunctivitis, Corneal ulceration, Keratitis disciformis, Acute and chronic iritis and Iridocyclitis.

Mode of Action:
Dexamethasone acts by inhibiting phospholipase A2 enzyme, which is responsible for inflammatory cascade. Chloramphenicol readily penetrates into bacterial cells and interferes with protein synthesis. Chloramphenicol is primarily a bacteriostatic antibiotic.
